This must have been one big tree at some point. Taken at the end of Fishtail Lake Road, fallen into (of all things) Fishtail Lake.
I like both the colour and b&w so much that I will be posting the other tomorrow.

The tree is home for little plants, probably fish and othe aquatic creatures - a fine end/beginning!

I like the way the wood has bleached in the sun to resemble the rocks around it
