Fallen Monster (2)

The b&w of yesterday's shot - which do you prefer? I'm putting up a series of prints at my cabin, and can't decide which one of these makes the cut.

This is a great shot. I prefer the b/w.

hmmm i can't decide which either! they both have their good and bad points. i love the earthy feel of the colour one, but the b/w one gives you more bold lines.

I prefer the color one ans to me it has more expression... though in B&w its nice 2...

I like the colour one better. The B&W is more dramatic but it is difficult to see the "fallen monster".

I would either go with the coloured one, or try to darken the B/W a bit more.

I prefer the color, for me there's no warmth or serenity in the BW version.

I prefer the color; it is more expressive. To increase the "expressive Q" of this one, I would darken or curve it quite a bit in order to get more of the shadow ranges represented and thereby highlighting the deadwood. Just a thought.
