Loved this one, same gull as yesterday (as I recall, anyways). Really happy with the shot overall.
Halifax was a neat city to visit - I'd like to go back and have a few days to explore, not just one.

@Rabbit: I was on the edge of the harbour, which is a fair height from the water in Halifax. Luckily, the bird took off and went down, giving a fairly good view, IMHO.
I like the simplicity and the smooth texture in the background!

Utterly inspiring....This is such a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L capture, Walt! I must agree with everyone who has said it above...that POV is amazing! Such a marvel of creation, pure elegance, grace, what a joy to behold .....yes, I think this piece definitely sets hearts soaring! :)

Great shot! This reminds me of a shot I took. I would be happy if you can take a look at it also, if you have time. What i love about your picture is that you got the back of the gull, that is hard in my opinion.
