Atop the refuse of humanity

Had an outdoor education day on Wednesday. We went on a hike, and our first destination was the Beare Road Landfill site. I'll be posting a few from there over the next while, as I work on PPing my fabulous fall shots from Thanksgiving Weekend up north.

So basically, I've taken this shot of Northeast Scarborough from on top of my old dirty diapers, chicken bones and other assorted refuse. It was the landfill site for Scarborough for over 50 years.
