In 2007, my favourite ride by far was Chillax, my 15 foot, 23 year old speedboat. I'd always wanted one, and finding her used and fairly cheap, fixing her up and getting her in the water successfully was a highlight, as well as the perfect mechanical summer she had after her 2006 disaster.
I got a call early in February from my cousin, who had discovered this. Chillax, in her 10x20 steel pole and canvas shelter, fell victim (pun intended) to a windstorm and a weakened pine.
It's taken me nearly six weeks to get to the "laughing about it" stage, and I guess I'm really not, yet. But at least I can type about it with a small smile.
Had another 50 cm of snow dumped on her on the weekend - I won't be able to find the true extent of the damage until we have quite a thaw. It was work getting her into that spot - getting her out will be FAR worse, especially now.
At any rate - I started the insurance claim, fearing the worst. Another, big picture shot tomorrow. This is the dramatic one.

Poor you, I can feel with you. Hope you'll find only limited damage....

Ouch! I hope that when the snow thaws that you find Chillax isn't too badly damaged. Got my fingers crossed for you Walt.
