I Walt, Thanks for visiting my blog. Not to worry about looking stupid the only stupid people are those who don't ask!! HDR is short for High Dynamic Range. It is a process of getting detail in both your darks and whites. If you Google it you will find info on it that will explain it a lot better than I can!!.
